It didn't take long for the State Board of Education to politicize nearly a year's worth of work by teachers and scholars on new social studies curriculum standards for Texas public schools. In January the board began revising the standards to water down instruction on the civil rights movement, highlight conservative political heroes, and promote the lie that the Founders wanted the nation's government and laws based on fundamentalist biblical principles. But the Texas Freedom Network is fighting back!

Capitol DomeThe Texas Freedom Network scored some key victories on education, science and religious freedom in the recently ended legislative session. What has not been known, however, is what public schools are actually teaching students about sexuality education in their classrooms.

Until now.
